If Social Media Existed In Paintings

When you take the old and add a different perspective, it suddenly experiences a rebirth, a process Buddhists would be proud of. Ukrainian artist Nastya Nudnik has done just that with the pieces of painter Edward Hopper, whose famous work Nighthawks you may recognize:

In a project called Emoji-Nation part 2, Nastya looked at several of Hopper's pieces and re-imagined how his characters would fit into today's social media driven world. She pulled recognizable features from across the social platforms to give them a home in Hopper's paintings.
