Air pollution is an issue that has been increasingly getting worse, especially in major cities. The worst part about it is that if you happen to live in a major city and experience this pollution regularly, it seems normal. Michael Pinsky had an idea to create an installation that replicates the air pollution of major cities. The purpose of the art instillation is to show the drastic differences of the air quality in these cities. The pods are extremely precise as they replicate the temperature as well as certain chemicals that would be found in the air of these cities. Michael compares the effect of walking through the pods to getting off an airplane in a new city. Check out the short video below to check out these pollution pods.
