This Artist Recycles Wood for Geometric Portraits

Reusing and recycling can be done by anyone and for many different reasons.  Some do it to be resourceful, some do it with the environment in mind, and others even do it for art.  Repurposing old materials and making something new and exciting is a talent in itself.  Stefaan De Croock does exactly this.  He takes old pieces of wood, and recycles them in order to make giant geometric portraits.  He even uses the wood in its current state and current color without making any modifications. By preserving the textures, he is paying homage to the nostalgia of these pieces.  Check out some of the giant abstract portraits below!
