Chance the Rapper: 'Coloring Book'

Last night Chance dropped his third mixtape installment, entitled "Coloring Book".  There has been a lot of hype surrounding this project, which was previously being promoted as Chance 3.  Chance the Rapper has evolved over the years, both as a rapper and person.  The former weird druggy rap persona has transformed to a sentimental and spiritual character.  Chance has always had a deep and spiritual side to him, but this project sounds much more mature and insightful compared to his last 2 mixtapes, 10 Days and Acid Rap.

One noticeable thing about Coloring Book is it's strong gospel influence. In fact, many of the songs sound like straight up gospel songs off a gospel album.  Another important thing to notice is how many features he has on this mixtape.  His growing success has allowed him to connect with some huge artists, and he flexes some big features, such as Kanye West, Jay Electronica, 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, and even Kirk Franklin.  It's obvious that a lot of effort was put into this project, and it's amazing that Chance decided to release it for free.
