The talk that will be filling break rooms, classrooms, and homes around the world today is the Oscars. There were a few stand out moments, including Leonardo Dicaprio winning best actor and Chris Rock's monologue on race and the Acadamy Awards. First, let's address Leo. Mr. DiCaprio is an outstanding actor and has been killing it the past few years, so there's no doubt that he deserved to win. Secondly, the fact that he addressed climate change in his speech is even more awesome. Superego is a brand that pushes sustainability on all fronts, so we love that Leo is on the same page! Next let's talk about Chris Rock. Many of the jokes he made about race in hollywood caused a lot of uneasy faces in the crowd. Although some of his jokes may have been a bit distasteful, Chris Rock addressed an issue that many people would (and have) swept under the rug. His overall message was, "We want black actors to get the same opportunities". He also highlighted Jamie Foxx and what an amazing actor he is, as well throwing some friendly jabs at Kevin Hart.
