Art Made From Air Pollution

Last month we posted about Air-Ink, a kickstarter campaign that was transforming air pollution into ink.  The idea was extraordinary!  Well now there is an art exhibit in London which is displaying artwork made from this ink.  The device used to transform the pollution into ink is called Kaalink; it attaches to diesel exhaust pipes and stops around 95% of the pollution from going into the atmosphere.  This is no small feat!  The soot that is collected is then transformed into black ink that is used in markers.  This Air-Ink can make for some pretty great artwork!  The worlds first "Clean Art Gallery" is being held in Brixton and is a great first step to introduce sustainability in art on a major platform.  Check out some of the artwork made from Air-Ink below!
