Buddy has been building buzz in the rap industry as he's been featured on tracks with Nipsey Hussle and BJ the Chicago Kid in the last year. The young Compton native has an excellent ear for music as his new song "Shine" shows. The song is 'feel good' music at its best. With Buddy's melodic singing/rapping over a violin sample and a classic drum pattern, this song is a slice of summer. The young rapper is getting pushed by the legend Pharrell Williams, so he's in good hands. Make sure to keep your eyes out for him, but in the meantime, check out Shine below.
