NASA Reinvented the Wheel

 

 The wheel has come a long way since the circular stones from years and years ago.  The standard wheel that had dominated the past few generations has been the rubber tire filled with air.  NASA and some other organizations and companies have been looking to change this however.  Airless tires seems to be the new trend when creating new wheels.  NASA's latest invention are rover wheels made from nickel-titanium alloy that "remember" their original shape.  A few issues these new wheels solve are the "flat tire" issue, as well as the puncture issue.  Let's see if this new innovation makes its way to the general public.  In the meantime, get an inside look of this wheel below.
