Up until now, Jetpacks were a thing of fantasy. Movies/shows like James Bond and The Jetsons have portrayed Jetpack-like vehicles, but it hasn't been a feasible reality yet. An early version of the jetpack called the "rocket belt" existed in many different versions but the first civilian jetpack developed by "JetPack Aviation" actually functions using jet turbine engines that allow for up to 10 minutes of flight time. JetPack Aviation is using startengine.com to help fund their project and have already raised over a quarter million dollars for the cause.
