This Robotic eel Finds the Source of Pollution in Lakes

Robots and water usually don't mix, however the Envirobot project is putting a robotic eel to good use.  The robot is made in a snake-like shape and moves through the water in natural fashion. The goal of the robotic eel is to measure pollution in lakes.  Instead of having to go out and take a sample and bring it back, the robot can move through the lake and actually find the source of pollution and measure it.  The head coordinates all the movements of the attached measuring modules.  The robot moves so natural and animal like, let's just hope that another lake animal doesn't try to eat it.  Check it out the footage below of the innovative robotic eel.
