Despite Bill Gates decision not to complete his undergraduate degree, he was able to establish his reputation as a computer programmer, industrialist, investor, inventor and philanthropist, beginning with his co-founding of Microsoft. He also served as CEO and Chairman of the company, but most currently fulfills the position of Technology Advisor. Post-secondary education is valuable, but the lack thereof doesn't necessarily beget failure.
