"Inspiring day working with my @TGRFound team and meeting Pratima Sherpa, an amazing young woman from Nepal. We can all learn from her perseverance, hard work and determination."  Tiger tweeted after meeting Pratima Sherpa.

We all know who Tiger Woods is, but Pratima Sherpa is still making a name for herself in the golf world.  She is just 18-years-old and originates from Nepal, a country where women, let alone girls, are rarely seen playing golf.  With the help of a fundraising campaign and an American Journalist, she was able to take a trip to the U.S. to exercise her talents on other soil.  She was also able to meet up with Tiger and get some practice swings in. "I hit the ball and he was just checking my swing and he said, 'Your swing is perfect, you don't need to change anything.' She said about her meeting with Tiger.  'He told me about his experience. He said just never give up; you need your passions in golf -- it's a mind game."

Sherpa is the Number 1 Ranked Female Golfer in Nepal and she is just getting started. She's had a long journey but her passion has been a major driver for her. She lives and grew up in a shed on the 4th hole of the Royal Nepal Golf Club in Kathmandu and her first golf clubs were whittled by her father from a tree.  Her perseverance has led her to capture the attention of legendary Tiger Woods and I'm sure she is not going to give up now.  She is truly Cut From A Different Cloth.
