I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "Money doesn't grow on trees"; well bikes can! A new Ghanaian initiative has a bunch of local employees making bikes out of bamboo. These durable and eco-friendly bikes have frames that are completely constructed from bamboo grown in Ghana; and for each bamboo plant that is chopped down to make the bike, 10 more are planted. This initiative has not only created more jobs, but has created tons of recyclable bikes for the community. Check out the video below to learn more!
