RapCity was a popular hip hop show on BET in the '90s and early 2000s. The show aired on BET and featured rap music videos and guest appearances. One of the popular segments on the show was called "The Basement" and it featured rap guests freestyling over industry beats. Culturally the segment was so important that if you were a rapper at the time it was almost a given that you made an appearance. Guests like Jay-Z, Kanye, Lil Wayne, and Dipset all appeared on the show. After being off the air for a long time, rap supergroup "Beast Coast" brings Rap City back by making an appearance and going off in a rap cypher. Check it out below!
