CBD has been popping up everywhere and in all types of forms. Last month we even saw Carl's Jr. release a limited edition CBD Burger. It's safe to say that the hype surrounding CBD is not dying down anytime soon. In fact, it seems to just keep increasing. The latest company to hop on the CBD wave is Ben & Jerry's. While they haven't officially released a CBD ice cream yet, they are very interested in doing so once the FDA will allow it.
Matthew McCarthy, Ben & Jerry’s CEO said in a press release, “We’re doing this for our fans,” “We’ve listened and brought them everything from Non-Dairy indulgences to on-the-go portions with our Pint Slices. We aspire to love our fans more than they love us and we want to give them what they’re looking for in a fun, Ben & Jerry’s way.” It will be interesting to see how Ben & Jerry's will execute this. Regardless it will be exciting to see the non-psychoactive component of cannabis merge with their cold treats.
