We're living in a time in America where many would call our nation divided. A lot of issues occur everyday that have charged American citizens to go to the streets in protest. Even more, music artists are addressing some of these issues in their music, as they should. Common has always been a conscious and very open voice in the hip-hop community, and in his new song "Letter to the Free" he addresses the state of America and "Freedom"; a very timely song.
