Disney Goes Green With 270-acre Solar Facility

 The Walt Disney Company had a 2020 goal of reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 50%  compared to 2012 and they have been doing a great job at pursuing this goal.  One of their most recent efforts was bringing a 270-acre, 50-megawatt solar facility online.  The facility generates enough renewable clean energy to power 2 of its 4 theme parks in central Florida. The facility, which is located near Disney's Animal Kingdom, is just one of the numerous efforts in Disney's commitment to environmental stewardship.
