Eyes: Kinetic Sculptures by Lucas Zanotto

As a young kid you may have had a parent or guardian tell you “stop rolling your eyes!”. The eyes are very expressive and can portray many emotions. From sadness to excitement. Lucas Zanotto has created a project entitled "EYES" to portray the variety of eye movements that define our self expression, but in a very unique way. He uses motion, and physics to create sculptures that essentially represent eye movements.  From tears, to rolling eyes, to eyes that scan back and forth, Lucas does a great job at using physics to portray these very human-like movements we make with our eyes.  The short film below shows the variety of pieces he has created in motion.  The short video is so intriguing that it even became a Vimeo Staff Pick.  Check it out!
