As the Dreamville team has been teasing their new compilation album "Revenge of the Dreamers 3", J. Cole has started the year off right by dropping a new single entitled "Middle Child". The song has J. Cole rapping over a T-Minus beat, a rarity since J. Cole usually likes producing his own records. The song is a metaphor about J. Cole being the middle child of the rap game, with the new rappers being his younger siblings and the older rap legends being his older siblings.
