Skin-tone diversity in the fashion industry has always been lacking. The industry has predominantly made clothing and shoes that are tailored for specific skin-tones (mainly lighter tones). Awareness about this issue has been rising as of recently however. KAHMUNE is a brand that is helping to raise this awareness as well. They are creating nude shoes for every skin color. Usually, when a "nude-colored" shoe is mentioned, it is the same color as the standard band-aid shade. KAHMUNE is ensuring that no matter what your skin-tone, there is a nude shoe for you.
