It is no secret that Kanye West has had a lot of gospel influence in his music throughout the course of his career. From "Jesus Walks" to "Father Stretch My Hands pt. 1" Kanye has channeled gospel sounds to create masterful songs. Now he's going back to the roots (so to say). He's starting something new called "Sunday Service" where he is performing gospel versions of his big hits with a choir. Although it is not clear exactly whats to come of this "Sunday Service" in terms of anything being released, there have been snippets released to social media by those who were present at the events. Best case scenario we get an album or video series out of it. In the meantime, check out some snippets below!
