Lego Goes 100% Renewable

As awareness of renewable energy options grows as well as sustainable alternatives of production,  we find many companies are switching to more eco-friendly practices. Major companies such as Adidas, McDonalds, and Apple have all adopted some eco-friendly habits.  Lego is another one of these huge companies that is taking strides in the positive direction. They had announced that they wanted to run on 100% renewable energy by 2020, but it seems they have met their goal 3 years early.  In addition, in the past they have announced that they are interested in looking to more sustainable materials they could use for their lego bricks. We hope that they look into hemp plastic! In the meantime, we commend them for their focus on sustainability and their active efforts!
