Tesla and Solar City Have an Island That Runs on Solar Power

 

 Imagine a future world that runs on clean energy; a sustainable world that doesn't rely on burning harmful fuels.  This small world in fact exists in the form of an island.  Tesla and Solar City have supplied a remote island of 600 in American Samoa with solar energy. The tiny island of Ta'u now has enough solar panels to supply its 600 residents, relieving them of their reliance on generators and expensive imported gasoline.  This island can go 3 days on stored solar energy!
